Rob is awarded his BPE Associateship Medal


Rob recently travelled to Southport to be presented with his ABPE medal. This distinction confers Associateship of the British Photographic Exhibitions and was awarded to him by Ian Forster, Chairman of Southport Photographic Society. The British Photographic Federation, asks their associates to be personally presented with their medals at one of the photographic exhibitions under its patronage. Rob chose Southport as this was where his good pal Andy Polakowski was also receiving his associateship medal. Sharon and Rob travelled together and stayed overnight in Southport to make the event into a mini-celebration. This turned out to be a great choice: not only were they warmly received at the exhibition itself, but afterwards the members of the society, drove them to a local pub to round off the celebrations.
