Exhibition of photographs at Llandudno Library


Images by Rob and Sharon have gone on display at Llandudno library. The exhibition was first shown in the Maramures area of northern Romania and consists of photos taken by Conwy Camera Club members Tony Davies, Sharon Prenton Jones and Robert Prenton Jones, and by Romanian photographer Mariana Scubli.

The exhibition was opened by Michael Pearce, the Mayor of Llandudno on 10th April 2025. It contains five images from each of the four photographers, concentrating on the people of Maramures. Robert said: “The social landscape is one of a friendly, humble, spiritual people who exude a natural warmth and compassion.” The photographers all have different styles but were united in their desire to capture the people’s generosity of spirit in the images.
