Lighting for Still Life


Recently, Rob ran a “Lighting for Still Life” workshop for Conwy Camera Club. This was a busy night with 28 people rotating between three separate still light set ups, each designed to show a different aspect of lighting. The emphasis was on affordability, minimalism, and experimentation. Particular attention was paid to controlling shadows and how multiple layers of diffusion can affect shadow detail. It was exhausting but fun!
